the NASCAR News Bureau, first as the program editor and was later
promoted to News Bureau Manager. The

at STP included coordinating and managing STP’s sponsorship with
Richard Petty and the Petty Enterprise team, coordinating STP
motorsports-related sales activities, media liaison and coordinating the
STP team’s involvement with Petty’s associate sponsors.
In addition to the responsibilities surrounding the Petty team I
was also responsible for managing STP’s NASCAR contingency Program,
which encompassed support for the majority of NASCAR divisions.

Enterprises and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in the advertising and
promotion group. In this
area I was responsible for developing and implementing traveling
consumer involving exhibits as well as advertising creative for the
Camel brand sponsorship.
In 1993, I was named Senior Manager of the
NASCAR Winston Cup operations team.
In this assignment I was responsible for managing the Winston Cup
program. I managed our relationship with NASCAR, track operators,

the sport. In this function
I was also responsible for coordinating the entertainment of RJR
executives and sales customers at Winston Cup races, producing the
NASCAR Winston Cup Series season-ending banquet in New York and
negotiating event sponsorships.
