  • It is the largest single-day charitable event in North Carolina.  This year marks the 11th T. Wayne Robertson NASCAR Winston Cup Preview.

 

  • The charities that will benefit from the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Preview include:

  • Brenner Children's Hospital

  • Speedway Children’s Charities

  • Winston Cup Racing Wives Auxiliary 

  • T. Wayne Robertson Memorial Fund.

  •  The 1999 event raised $220,000 of  the charities.

 

  •  In the 10-year history of the event, the T. Wayne Robertson NASCAR Winston Cup Preview has raised more than $1.8 million for charity.

 

  • NASCAR Winston Cup, Busch Grand National and Craftsman Truck Series drivers are scheduled to attend.

 

  • Last year, 25,000 people attended the NASCAR Winston Cup Preview.  In the first year of the event, 15,000 people attended.  Race fans from approximately 30 states attend the NASCAR Winston Cup Preview each year.
