Here I am with another one of my
sporadic postings. What the heck, it's Sunday
afternoon and guess what, I am in front of a
computer. Duh.
Here's what's been happening. I have a
temporary assignment back at RJR that hopefully will
turn into a full-time position. I have gone
back to a slimmed-down events department and am
essentially doing the same job I did when I left a
year ago.
One of the first things on the
agenda is a major training for one of their field
marketing agencies, which happens this week.
Therefore I spent much of the Thanksgiving Holiday
preparing some of the materials that will be needed
for the training. I even had my first
experience with Kinko's since there would not be
time to have the RJR copy center prepare the
materials and bind them on Monday. Working
with Kinko's was a learning experience and hopefully
the materials will turn out the way I want them to.
The proof I looked at this afternoon needed only
some minor tweaks.
I have also been
spending a bit of time continuing to market the
Mobile Marketing JobList. At this point my
marketing consists of sending emails to marketing
agencies and others I think may be interested in the
service. I am probably on several spam lists
now because of this effort.
In preparing these mailings I
have become somewhat proficient in using the email
mail merge function in Microsoft Word, which allows
me to send the emails out individually and hopefully
slip in under the spam detector. I don't view
my messages as Spam!
If you know of a good site
that would be an appropriate site to exchange links
with Mobile Marketing Joblist, here is the code for
adding the joblist to the site

The
Mobile Marketing JobList is an internet
job search portal for promotional,
mobile marketing, special event and
experiential marketing jobseekers,
employers and recruiters. |
We will be happy to exchange
links with the site after a review of the site.
Appreciate your consideration of our site.
Firefox from Mozilla
may become my browser of choice. Maybe this
browser will keep away some of those annoying pop-up
ads that we all hate.
If you haven't thought of
trying Firefox,
go to their homepage and check it out. You
may just like what you see and the price is
certainly right. The install was painless and
the file is not as bloated as Internet Explorer. |
