I have been away so long, I don't really know where to start.

I suppose the first place to jump back in is to say that I am no longer employed at SPEVCO.  SPEVCO was a place that seemed to be a good fit after RJ Reynolds/Sports Marketing Enterprises, but it just did not work out that way.

This all means that for the first time in my career I am actively pursuing employment.  If you know of something in the area of promotional marketing that you think I might be interested in, let me know. I have posted my resume for all to review.  Feel free to pass it along to a prospective employer <end of shameless plug>.

I've been working on another project as well.

When I was a senior manager in RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company’s sports marketing and lifestyle marketing department , one of the things I noticed was that among the many job boards available on the internet there was not one targeted toward the special event and mobile/promotional marketing industry, my specialty.

This marketing segment continues to grow as advertisers are channeling more marketing dollars toward mobile and experiential marketing and demand for people is growing, hence, the Mobile Marketing JobList was born.

 The Mobile Marketing JobList  is the newest community on the internet for mobile marketing, special event, promotional and experiential marketing employers and jobseekers to find each other.

There are plenty of "job boards" on the internet, but my research didn't uncover many/any that were tightly targeted toward this field.

Many of the opportunities in this field are short term contract or seasonal employment jobs and marketers and promotional agencies are always searching job candidates.  Today, they head to the large job boards, but we are out to change this behavior.

On the Mobile Marketing JobList jobseekers are encouraged to open a free account, post their resume and search the database for opportunities.  Jobseekers are also able to:

• Edit & update their profile and resume
• View job postings available through our member employer and recruiters
• Review company profiles of prospective future employers
• Refer other jobseekers
• Get their profile & resume noticed by companies searching for great talent
